He graduated from Highlands High School and enlisted into the Army on 29 June 2005. 1SG Trevino completed basic combat training at Fort Benning, GA and attended advanced individual training at Fort Sam Houston, TX, earning the MOS 68R, Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist.
1SG Trevino’s various assignments include: Food Inspector, 72nd MDVSS, Wurzburg, GE; Food Inspection NCO, Fort Carson, CO; Veterinary Service NCO, Naval Base Guam; Team Leader, 463rd MDVSS, Fort Benning, GA; Detailed Recruiter, McAllen, TX; Platoon Sergeant, Hanscom AFB, MA; BN Operations NCO, Veterinary Readiness Activity, Fort Belvoir, VA. 1SG Trevino has deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraq Freedom 05-06; deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 08-09 and 11-12; deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Spartan Shield 15-16.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science.
