Public Health Command, East Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) Induction Ceremony

During the week of 20-24 May, VRA, Fort Knox hosted the inaugural Public Health Command, East non-commissioned officer (NCO) induction ceremony. NCO induction ceremonies are one of many forms to maintain and promote Army Traditions. 37 Soldiers from across the brigade (BDE) marched through the NCO Corps arch in a symbolic gesture, representative of assuming their role as a Non-Commissioned Officer. During the week’s ceremony, the new members of the NCO Corps participated in two Leader Professional Development (LPDs), BDE run and learned how to execute a military ceremony. The host of the ceremony, Command Sergeant Major Rafael Colon Hernandez, the PHC, East Command Sergeant Major along with the PHC, East Commander, Colonel Jody Brown, welcomed Command Sergeant Major Bradford Webster, Command Sergeant Major for the Ireland Community Hospital.
