Early Life & Service Entry: MSG Velez was born in Miami, Florida, and traces his family heritage to Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. He entered active-duty service in 2010.
Assignments & Responsibilities: Throughout his career, MSG Velez has served in a variety of critical roles, including Food Inspection Sergeant, Squad Leader, Branch NCOIC, Platoon Sergeant, Instructor/Writer, CLINOPS NCOIC, Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), and currently, Chief Veterinary NCO. These assignments reflect a diverse skillset and adaptability within the Army structure.
Professional Development & Education: MSG Velez is a dedicated lifelong learner, evidenced by his completion of numerous military and civilian educational programs.
