MODESTO, Calif. - The California Silver Jackets, in collaboration with River Partners, hosted a Flood Risk Mitigation Workshop at the Dos Rios Ranch Preserve, Modesto, Calif., July 25, 2023. River Partners showcased their recent ecosystem restoration at the Dos Rios Ranch Preserve, emphasizing habitat rebuilding for endangered species like the Valley Elderberry Longhorn Beetle and the use of riparian plants in traditional crafts. Attendees also enjoyed a tour of the preserve, highlighting its ecological significance.
